19th August  2017 – Swarm Prevention Course

Presenters: Greg Deakin and Jean Claude Ferrier

This is a one day course to assist you in no losing too many of your bees during the swarming season.

Cost is $125 per person. Lunch will be supplied. Bring your bee protective clothing and your enthusiasm to learn. To enroll in the course send an email to club@nsbka.org.au, make the subject “Swarm Course”.  Payment is due before the course begins and enrollments are taken on a first paid – first enrolled basis.

Once payment of the course fee is received, detailed course notes will be emailed to you and these must be printed and brought with you to use during the course.This will allow you time to do a little reading before the course begins.

This course is held at the Bee Garden in Terrey Hills. (see the web site elsewhere for directions on how to get there. The course runs from 9.00 am till 4.00 pm

9th & 16th September 2017 – Beginners Course

Presenters: Greg Deakin and Jean Claude Ferrier

This course is for new beekeepers and will give a head start and includes hands on experience of actually handling live bee colonies.

Cost is $250 per person. Lunch will be supplied. Bring your bee protective clothing and your enthusiasm to learn. To enroll in the course send an email to club@nsbka.org.au, make the subject “Beginners Course”.  Payment is due before the course begins and enrollments are taken on a first paid – first enrolled basis.
